I'm not really counting on having male readers, but just in case I do have them, then I guess it would only be proper to ask the lovely gentlemen reading to please CLICK OUT, at least for a day. For your sake, click out. You won't like this post. At all.

Since the first few months of BeautyMNL, I've been quite the regular customer. I've already lost count of how many transactions I've had, and I've only had one unpleasant experience (which was basically caused by a system glitch). It's nice how BeautyMNL feels like a one-stop shop for girly things, and how it feels like an older sister who has it all for you-- and yes, that also includes feminine products. Okay, let's start!

Current haul is 80% geared towards natural living, yay!

I'm trying to switch towards more sustainable living in my own little ways-- that means making small changes in my beauty and skincare routines. I'm proud to say that my purchase lot is 80% geared towards natural living-- yay! Beauty and skin-care wise, I'm switching to products with more natural ingredients (organic, if possible), and a lot more oils to address my needs. Currently, my #1 vanity concern is falling hair. My friend, Felice, said really nice things about castor oil having helped her with her sparse eyebrows situation, so I decided to try it with MIJU GLOW Castor Oil. I've also been even more into masks lately, and I bought a jar of Bentonite Clay from the same brand. I've only been able to try one other product from the brand, in the form of their Moisturizing Cream-- I can't say that I really like it, but I also wouldn't say that I hate it. I'm really determined to give the brand another shot, though in this case, I'm giving it two shots.

I want to be an environment-conscious person. I really do! I know that making the switch can't really be done overnight, but like what I said earlier, little ways. I know for a fact that I'm a straw-person, in a sense that I'm more comfortable taking my drinks

using straws, but thanks to my Facebook friends who are quite enthusiastic in the environmental movement, it actually sunk in how destructive being a straw-person is. I actually wanted a metal straw, but BeautyMNL was out, so I bought a Bamboo Straw by REMIND PH. I'm quite shy about writing about buying a Menstrual Cup by ANYTIME MENSTRUAL CUP, and I really don't know why I feel this way. I can't say that I'm already 100% sold on the idea of really using one, but I'd be happy at least just having one, ready for me when I'm ready for it. I'm not expecting to ride the crimson wave very soon, so I guess it would take time before I could come up with an actual opinion about it. It's not up to me-- it's up to my endocrine system's ability to pull itself back together after a situation.

All hauls are beautiful, but what made this haul really special is the KRIS Matte Matic Lipstick in Life. I've been really curious about the Kris Aquino and Ever Bilena collaboration. Okay, let's be frank-- Ever Bilena is a local brand that not that many people pay too much attention to, but at the same time, the Queen of All Media slash Ultimate Tita Supreme would never endorse something that isn't at par with her standards. I've yet to read more about Ever Bilena's rebranding, but this looks a lot like a good start.

I'm actually on a makeup low-buy mission-- or at least, I'm trying to be. That means that I'm going easy on makeup expenses, unless it's absolutely justifiable, or absolutely needed. I'm trying to be as realistic as possible with my financial situation, and that's exactly why I didn't buy everything from the KRIS line-- but of course you know that I really wanted to.<3 The shade is quite pretty. I can actually see myself having a long-term relationship with this lipstick.<3

BeautyMNL is quite generous with freebies. There was a promo yesterday that would give you up to six freebies with a certain amount of wellness purchases. I think this is a first time that I've gotten more freebies than products I've actually paid for. I got a mother load of period products along with my purchases. Yes. Pads, tampons, feminine wash. I also got a snack, which was nice.:)

I'm already familiar with brands like Kotex and GynePro, so I'm really looking forward to trying the other stuff they sent me. In time, girl. In time. This is kind of reminiscent of those period box companies in the US that ship period care packages to you on a cycle-- except that this is a one-time deal. Hmm. Come to think of it, we could really use period boxes. That's all for now. :*
